Fine Art Modelling

For me, fine art modelling is a way to explore self-expression, authenticity and identity. My relationship with the camera has been a complicated one, with self-criticism often shaping how I existed within the frame. What started as a quiet attempt to build confidence led me to see individuality as beauty, and the human body as an art form in its own right.

Based in the east coast of Scotland, I now model independently as a personal hobby. I collaborate only with a small, carefully chosen group of photographers whose values and visual language align with my own. Each collaboration is unique, carrying its own story, shaped by both the photographer and me.

Alongside this, I pose for life modelling sessions where stillness and time shape the artwork. I am also beginning to explore photography from behind the camera, expanding my understanding of the whole process, with work that will slowly find its place here as it evolves.

This website brings together curated imagery and personal projects built from these collaborations; it is a space shaped by trust, with images available to purchase and download.

In the Shadows

£30.00

This set explores slow shutter speeds and varied exposures, allowing form to soften and edges to blur. Gentle motion creates a subtle haze around the body, capturing small changes in my pose and building double exposures that feel suspended rather than fixed. 60 images split across three chapters. Photographed by Dave Mackinnon.

This set focuses on darkness, contrast and close detail. Shot in low light, the images use shadow to shape form and draw attention to texture, skin and presence. This set follows small movements and changes in my pose as they happen. 60 black and white images split across three chapters. Photographed by Dave Mackinnon.

This set captures quiet, candid moments within my bedroom, using soft natural light and a mix of fast and slow exposures. The images focus on stillness, movement and passing moments as they unfold. 40 black and white images split across three smaller chapters. Photographed by Dave Mackinnon.

This set moves through darker interiors, photographing me across different rooms using a blend of natural and artificial light. Captured between a quiet countryside studio and open farm landscapes, this collaborative project blends vintage and digital photography, reflecting both the solitude of enclosed spaces and the openness of the natural world. Together, the images trace a calm, uncensored study of body, time and tranquillity. For me, this project felt deeply personal and was a moment of creative vulnerability in my journey into art nude modelling.

Photographed by Dave Mackinnon and Dave Hunt, combining various photography techniques, including; wet plate collodion on glass, vintage film and digital.
